Because he could be very emotionless towards her. I tried really hard to understand his feelings and emotional, but I couldn’t. At one moment he want Valentina but next moment he was cold and distant. At least Luca had shown his desires towards Aria from the beginning only. On the other hand Dante was vey cold, even colder than Luca.
But at the same time I was little heartbroken for her, as she was really craving for her husband’s love and desire. She was being way to desperate, pushing Dante’s towards the edge. But when she was acting desperate to sleep with Dante, that part I didn’t like. So how Valentina broke Dante’s outer shell, that is the whole story about. But soon her dreams were shattered, when she realized that Dante is still living in the memories of his dead wife. When Dante choose her to remarry, she was excited and hopeful, that now she will finally get the love of her husband. Valentina always craved for her husband’s love in her first marriage.
